2026 Nov - Magdalena Bay

Magdalena Bay, Mexico - November 28 - December 5, 2026

Magdalena Bay is the heart of the famous sardine run, a migratory event that draws in countless species of large fish, sea lions, and even whales to take part in the feast!
The star of the show is the striped marlin, one of the fastest species of fish in the world and a marvel to behold as they put their skills on display right before your eyes. Wahoo, sharks, diving birds, bonito, humpback whales and Bryde whales are other potential highlights. Out of water, you will enjoy the spectacular Nautilus Gallant Lady, our liveaboard home. Nautilus boasts impeccable service, delicious food, and comfortable living quarters to ensure your stay is one to remember. This trip is a unique freedive/scuba hybrid, and you will enjoy shipwreck dives with sealions one day and a baitball freedive the next!

Payment Schedule: $1000 deposit, additional $1000 due March 2026, final payment due August 1, 2026

This is my footage from the last trip.   The baitball got eaten and the whale body checked me in the last few frames of the video.   Greg
