2026 July - Derawan Islands

July 9 - 16, 2026
Derawan Islands, Indonesia
Aggressor II Liveaboard

The Derawan Islands are one of the world’s first-class and remotest dive destinations, and offers some of Indonesia’s most pristine reefs and breathtaking scenery.
Here the Pacific Ocean meets the Halmahera Sea, with an explosion of marine life as consequence. Whether you’re looking to dive with large pelagics or tiny critters, Derawan will deliver. With regular strong currents, big fish feel especially comfortable. Manta rays, reef sharks, different schools of mackerel, tuna and barracuda, and dolphins all call this place home. The reefs are densely packed with hard corals while others are covered with brightly colored soft corals. Night dives offer even more peculiar creatures, such as wobbegongs, epaulette sharks (walking sharks), nudibranchs, pipefish, seahorses, frogfish, and scorpion fish.
