STEP 2 - PADI Open Water Dives Homestead

The PADI Open Water Dives are the last step in completing your PADI Open Water Diver Certification. These can be completed over one weekend, 2 dives on Saturday and 2 dives on Sunday. Once you have completed your certification you will be Scuba certified for life with a maximum depth rating of 60 feet. Don't wait, make sure you complete this step before your next trip!

Important information about Homestead Crater:
Divers are responsible for their own lodging & transportation to and from the Crater, as well as food, and any other necessities.
*Divers Alert Network (DAN) recommends a surface interval of 18 hours after multiple dives. If you want to fly into Salt Lake City, please plan to stay in Utah for an additional day after you complete dives 3 & 4. For more information, please visit diversalertnetwork.org
If you fly, you will be responsible for paying a fee to rent tanks and weights at the crater. If you do not have enough room in your bags for any remaining rental gear (BCD, regulator, mask, fins, snorkel), you will have to rent those at the crater as well.
