STEP 2 - PADI Open Water Dives (Local, July-September)



The PADI Open Water Dives are the second and final step in completing your PADI Open Water Diver Certification.  These can be completed over one weekend, 2 dives on Saturday and 2 dives on Sunday.  Once you have completed your certification you will be Scuba certified for life with a maximum depth rating of 60 feet.  Don't wait, make sure you complete this step before your next trip!

Open Water Dive Locations

Aurora Reservoir, Local - Summer Months, June through September
5800 S. Powhaton Road, Aurora, 80016.  About two miles east of E-470 and Quincy Avenue, then south on Powhaton Road 


The Blue Hole (BH) - Occasional Fall & Winter Months, TBD
Santa Rosa, New Mexico
Spring Fed, Clear Water, Constant 64 Degrees

If you do not own a mask, snorkel, and fins, and you do not plan on purchasing them prior to your Open Water dives, you can rent them from the shop for $35.00 (for the weekend). 
Skill Level:
beginner
Materials Included:
BCD, Tanks, Weights, Regulator & Wetsuit. Does NOT include mask, snorkel, and fins.
Requirements:
You must have completed the PADI Basic Open Water Class within a year of your Open Water dives (classroom and confined water work).
