Rescue Diver Certification
Do you want to be the best buddy you can be? Do you want to be prepared to lend
assistance to a fellow diver and know what to do in an emergency? Then take our
PADI Rescue Diver Class. We focus on diving rescue and accident management and
prevention, but along the way you will increase your confidence in your own
diving and be better able to assist others.
Although this course is a prerequisite for PADI Instructors and divemaster, it
is a course that has benefits for anyone who dives. Upon completion of this
course there is a sense of pride and accomplishment that is hard to duplicate.
The course requires two evening classroom sessions, one pool session, and
approximately eight hours of open water training. The prerequisite for
certification as a Rescue Diver is that you be certified as an Advanced Open
Water Diver and have completed our PADI Medic First Aid program or equivalent.
In addition to your basic scuba diving equipment you will need:

Rescue diver manual

Accident management work slate

Pocket mask

First aid kit
Included: tanks, weights, classroom, pool, open water dive instruction, and
certification card.
The course cost is $225. The Medic First Aid/CPR class is $75 + Books & O2
provider class is $75 + Books. When you enroll in Rescue, O2 Provider & Medic
class at the same time, the total cost is $325 ($50 savings).
